The research activities of INCT Hormona encompass a wide range of clinical research: cross-sectional studies, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, case-control and cohort studies, randomized clinical trials, and pharmacogenetics studies, integrating Brazilian and international population-based study initiatives.
Bench research activities carried out by the Institute include molecular biology and molecular genetics studies, biochemistry and hormone measurement research, cell culture, and experiments with animal models.
With this set of activities, INCT Hormona seeks to consolidate a network of research institutions, foster the establishment of new research groups, and transfer knowledge and practices to government and society based on the best scientific evidence.
